Estamos \u201dhechos a imagen y semejanza de Dios\u201d y poseemos una dignidad intr\u00ednseca. Eso significa que el resto de nosotros tiene la responsabilidad de proteger y nutrir la vida humana. Nunca podremos descansar hasta que toda persona humana sea recibida en la vida y protegida por la ley. Esa es nuestra meta definitiva.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Pero la Iglesia sabe que en todo el mundo vivimos en sociedades pluralistas en las que muchas personas no est\u00e1n de acuerdo con nuestros principios y que, si bien nunca debemos renunciar a la meta de proteger toda vida humana inocente, a veces tenemos que conformarnos con compromisos muy imperfectos. La Corte Suprema ha establecido que no existe un derecho constitucional al aborto y, como resultado, la decisi\u00f3n sobre la protecci\u00f3n de la vida humana queda en manos de los estados o del Congreso.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dondequiera que estemos, debemos trabajar por el m\u00e1ximo respeto a la vida humana que podamos lograr en un lugar y momento determinados. Eso podr\u00eda significar aceptar leyes muy imperfectas y trabajar para cambiar los corazones y las mentes a largo plazo. Tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda significar que algunas personas providencia o a favor de la vida no est\u00e9n de acuerdo sobre los enfoques m\u00e1s prudentes y las mejores t\u00e1cticas. Pero todos seguimos unidos en nuestro objetivo a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>En Gianna\u2019s House, nos enfocamos en servir a las mam\u00e1s.
