El autor escrib\u00eda:<\/p><p>\"Mi amiga tiene dos hijos, un ni\u00f1o y una ni\u00f1a. Si le dice a la ni\u00f1a que no haga algo, la ni\u00f1a piensa 'bien, ahora s\u00e9 una cosa m\u00e1s sobre c\u00f3mo ser mayor' y no lo hace. Si le dice al ni\u00f1o que no haga algo, \u00e9l piensa 'me pregunto por qu\u00e9 no' y va y lo hace, para ver.<\/p><p>\"Cuando la Iglesia, inspirada por Cristo y por milenios de oraci\u00f3n y reflexi\u00f3n, intenta ense\u00f1arnos qu\u00e9 hacer y qu\u00e9 no hacer, no le hacemos caso. Tenemos que ir y probarlo por nosotros mismos y m\u00e1s tarde, sabios por experiencia, descubrimos que la ense\u00f1anza era correcta todo el tiempo. Somos como el hijo peque\u00f1o de mi amigo. Somos como Tom\u00e1s, que se obstinaba en no creer lo que le dec\u00edan, sino que ten\u00eda que verlo y tocarlo por s\u00ed mismo.\"<\/p><p>La Iglesia conoce nuestra naturaleza, por lo que lleva milenios trabajando incansablemente para recopilar y poner a nuestra disposici\u00f3n innumerables recursos que puedan ayudarnos a creer. Escritos y ense\u00f1anzas de m\u00e1s de cuatro mil a\u00f1os revelan la historia de la salvaci\u00f3n. Escritos m\u00e1s recientes de papas, santos y te\u00f3logos traducen esas ense\u00f1anzas en 21<sup>st<\/sup> Las pinturas, los mosaicos, las estatuas, las vidrieras y la m\u00fasica Pinturas, mosaicos, estatuas, vidrieras y m\u00fasica tocan nuestras mentes a trav\u00e9s de nuestros ojos y o\u00eddos, corazones y almas, mientras que las reliquias de los santos demuestran que aquellos santos estaban hechos de hueso como el nuestro.<\/p><p>Otras tradiciones religiosas y confesiones cristianas no tienen esa ventaja. Un amigo m\u00edo protestante nos acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a Roma y Lourdes en 2023 y qued\u00f3 conmovido por todas las pruebas que la Iglesia ha reunido para reforzar nuestra fe. Cuando salimos de las profundidades de la Bas\u00edlica de San Pedro tras ver los huesos de San Pedro bajo el altar mayor, a mi amiga se le saltaron las l\u00e1grimas. Estaba muy agradecida de que la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica se hubiera esforzado tanto por conservar y proteger estos preciosos artefactos. Lo que no sab\u00edamos entonces era que la Iglesia Cat\u00f3lica ha conservado incluso el famoso dedo de Santo Tom\u00e1s. En su pr\u00f3ximo viaje a Roma podr\u00e1 venerarlo en la catedral de San Basilio.<\/p><p><u>Escritura<\/u>: Lee Juan 20:24-28. \u00bfQu\u00e9 destaca?<\/p><p><u>Llamamiento a la acci\u00f3n:<\/u> Santo Tom\u00e1s nos ense\u00f1a que est\u00e1 bien dudar, pero no podemos seguir siendo esc\u00e9pticos, la Iglesia tiene todos los recursos que necesitas para identificar la verdad.
