El Abad Berno, el monje que dirig\u00eda la comunidad, acogi\u00f3 a Herman bajo su protecci\u00f3n donde fu\u00e9 educado con bondad y compasi\u00f3n.<\/p><p>Herman demostr\u00f3 ser brillante, y a pesar de sus abrumadoras limitaciones f\u00edsicas, estudi\u00f3 y escribi\u00f3 sobre astronom\u00eda, teolog\u00eda, matem\u00e1ticas,historia, poes\u00eda, Arabe,Griego y Lat\u00edn. Construy\u00f3 instrumentos musicales y equipo astron\u00f3mico. M\u00e1s adelante, Herman qued\u00f3 ciego teniendo que abandonar sus escritos , acad\u00e9micos,pero fu\u00e9 el poeta religioso m\u00e1s famoso de su \u00e9poca. Su obra sigue siendo fundamental en algunas de nuestras Oraciones Cat\u00f3licas m\u00e1s preciadas. Herman fu\u00e9 el autor del Salve Regina, que forma parte del Rosario y del Alma Redemptoris Mater, un famoso canto Gregoriano.<\/p><p>\u00bfSab\u00edan sus amorosos padres que su hijo llegar\u00eda a ser conocido como el <strong>Beato Herman el Lisiado, <\/strong>que sus contribuciones ser\u00edan veneradas a lo largo del resto de la historia de la humanidad?<\/p><p>Qu\u00e9 crees que har\u00eda una pareja Estadounidense en la actualidad?
