La ingeniosa descripci\u00f3n que hace el autor sobre una correspondencia unilateral, entre el demonio mayor, Escrutopo y su sobrino tentador, Ajenjo, ha intrigado a los lectores desde 1942, de manera que no estoy sola.<\/p><p>A Ajenjo le han asignado una v\u00edctima para tentar, y me encanta la parte en la que el hombre se enamora de una mujer devotamente cristiana proveniente de una familia muy religiosa. Escrutopo sabe que la influencia de la mujer acercar\u00e1 al hombre a Dios y debilitar\u00e1 las posibilidades de ganarse su alma para Satan\u00e1s.<\/p><p>En esta parte vemos como Escrutopo le grita a Ajenjo: \u201c As\u00ed que tu hombre est\u00e1 enamorado, y de la peor manera posible. He revisado el expediente de esta chica y me &#8221; horroriza&#8221; lo que he encontrado acerca de ella.\u201d No solo es cristiana, sino cristiana de pura sepa. Es muy c\u00ednica; me da asco, apesta, puedo percibirlo de las mismas p\u00e1ginas del expediente. Oh, me enfurece como ha empeorado el mundo! En otros tiempos, hubiera ca\u00eddo redondita; \u00a1para eso sirve la gente de su cala\u00f1a!. Consecuentemente conoce a la familia y a todo su c\u00edrculo. No te das cuenta,de que la casa donde vive es una en la que nunca debi\u00f3 haber entrado? Todo el lugar apesta a ese hedor mortal. Incluso el jardinero, aunque solo lleva cinco a\u00f1os all\u00ed, ya empieza a impregnarse de ese olor. El gato, el perro, hasta los invitados, despu\u00e9s de un fin de semana, se llevan algo de hedor consigo; todos est\u00e1n manchados.<\/p><p>Es interesante pensar en la santidad como algo que tiene un aroma, pero recuerdo haber le\u00eddo , que es nuestro olfato uno de los sentidos que nos ayuda a elegir pareja. No por el aroma de su colonia, o el desodorante, sino por un rasgo oculto al que solo podemos acceder con la nariz. En este caso, el aroma de la santidad puede ser similar. \u00bfPor qu\u00e9 las personas santas resultan atractivas? No se debe necesariamente a su apariencia, o por que sus hogares transmiten comodidad y seguridad, a\u00fan siendo humildes, mientras que las casas ostentosas pueden ser fr\u00ecas y poco atractivas. La santidad es el aroma de Cristo manifestado a trav\u00e9s del amor por la familia, los amigos, y hasta los desconocidos pueden absorber su aroma, cuando imitamos a Cristo. Supongo que en casa de la novia hab\u00eda un crucifijo, arte religioso, y agua bendita: sacramentales que repelen a los demonios. Decidamos desarmar al maligno al envolvernos a nosotros mismos y a nuestros hogares en el aroma de Cristo.<\/p><p><strong>Sagradas Escrituras: <\/strong>Leer Corintios 2:14-17 . Que sobresale?<\/p><p><strong>Llamado a la acci\u00f3n : <\/strong>Examinar su hogar con una nueva perspectiva. Es un remanso de paz? \u00bfSe respira en \u00e9l, amor?
