En ese d\u00eda conmemoramos la derrota del imperio otomano en la batalla de Lepanto, ocurrida el 7 de octubre de 1571. Las fuerzas turcas eran muy poderosas pero los cristianos vencieron gracias a la intersecci\u00f3n de Mar\u00eda y a la oraci\u00f3n del Santo Rosario. Siglo tras siglo, se han acumulado relatos de milagros que ocurren cuando los fieles rezan el Rosario. Hoy en d\u00eda siguen sucediendo milagros.<\/p><p>Algunas personas se sienten atra\u00eddas naturalmente hacia esta forma meditativa de oraci\u00f3n. Acariciar las cuentas y repetir las oraciones es algo sencillo y relajante. Llevo varios a\u00f1os rezando el Rosario a diario, pero al principio no me result\u00f3 f\u00e1cil. Lo que cambi\u00f3 todo fue enamorarme de los Misterios del Rosario.<\/p><p>Reflexionar sobre los misterios me ayuda a conectar con Jes\u00fas y Mar\u00eda y a profundizar en estos relatos evang\u00e9licos tan importantes. Existen muchos libros que nos gu\u00edan en la reflexi\u00f3n sobre los misterios, pero ahora prefiero utilizar mi propia imaginaci\u00f3n, haci\u00e9ndolo algo muy personal. Por ejemplo, al contemplar la Anunciaci\u00f3n a Mar\u00eda, el primero de los Misterios Gozosos, podemos meditar sobre lo que Mar\u00eda pudo haber pasado cuando el \u00e1ngel Gabriel la invit\u00f3 a asumir el papel trascendental de ser la madre de Dios. Pero al mismo tiempo puedo reflexionar sobre mis propias experiencias de anunciaci\u00f3n. \u00bfQu\u00e9 misiones \u00fanicas me ha encomendado Dios para llevar a cabo? \u00bfC\u00f3mo he respondido, y cu\u00e1l ha sido el resultado?<\/p><p>El primer Misterio Doloroso es la agon\u00eda de Jes\u00fas en el huerto antes de su pasi\u00f3n. Cuando personas conocidas aguardan una cirug\u00eda, esto podr\u00eda asemejarse a la angustia de esa espera con la agon\u00eda de Jes\u00fas; esto me ayuda a reconocer su sufrimiento como redentor y resulta reconfortante saber que Jes\u00fas comprende nuestra ansiedad y dolor. Cada uno de los Misterios puede volverse personal si encontramos puntos en com\u00fan con nuestra propia vida. Nos adentra a comprender mejor el mensaje del Evangelio, nos ayuda a crecer en intimidad con Jes\u00fas y Mar\u00eda y confirma que nuestras propias experiencias de vida cobran sentido.<\/p><p>Sagradas Escrituras: Leer Lucas 22, 41-44. \u00bf Que puntos en com\u00fan encuentran?<\/p><p>Invitaci\u00f3n: El Padre Joaqu\u00edn ofrecer\u00e1 un taller sobre la Meditaci\u00f3n de los Misterios del Rosario para contemplar el rostro de Cristo a trav\u00e9s de Mar\u00eda.
