Why did Pope Leo write it and what does it mean?

Our popes began writing encyclicals in the 20^th century to educate the world on social issues. In the first of this 2-part series, Fr. Joachim will discuss the purpose of encyclicals and the Church’s mission to defend the person in every age. The second night he will specifically address AI and Pope Leo XIV’s call to protect human dignity amid one of the most technological revolutions of our time.
