Beautiful blue skies y sunshine greeted fifty pilgrims from St Lawrence who joined el Eucharistic Procession in Nuevo York City—the day started early at St Lawrence, where el group boarded a bus a St Patrick’s Cathedral.
The Eucharistic procession began following Mass and Benediction at St. Patrick’s. Jesus, in a monstrance under a canopy, was followed by 1,000 pilgrims of many ages and cultural backgrounds, including young families with children in strollers. The pilgrims joyfully sang praise and worship songs in Spanish and English and prayed rosaries in both languages.
El first stop on el journey fue at St Peter Iglesia on Barclay Street. A talk y benediction followed a time de adoration. Returning a St Lawrence at el end de el day, nuestra group knew they had been a part de something special. They had accompanied Jesús in el streets de Nuevo York, bringing His peace and presence a a city eso sometimes feels far from Christ. It fue indeed a privilege a ser part de this monumental event!
