For us Catholics, the reading this week from the book of John is the most important chapter in our faith. Jesus is teaching us the importance of the Eucharist that He is the Bread of Life. He even doubles down on the Jews when they question Him. Secondly, Jesus is the source of divine life in us. He remains in us because of the Eucharist which gives us his divine life.
