This gospel reading takes place right after the Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan. Fr. Rich explains how Jesus is driven into the desert by the Holy Spirit to listen to the voice of God about what the mission is going to look like. Jesus is subjected to temptation and Fr. Rich explains how the devil tries to knock Jesus off course.
