This is the Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time. We are in the first chapter of Mark with the bold faith of a leper. He is extraordinary because he reaches out to Jesus to be healed. Jesus heals him. Today we can equate this story to our spiritual leprosy, our whole legacy of sin. We too need to be confident to ask Jesus to help us. Jesus wants to. heal deeper than just the cure. He wants us to be healed spiritually. Listen and learn.
